Far better pub 3-5 minute walk down road (Teddington Arms)
I have never met such a rude and abnoxious manager of a pub, utterly disgusted by his pontificating manner.
Drinks are served with no smile or attention to customer satisfaction.
When requested to simply change the channel of TV to watch a Live International Rugby match instead of League 2 Italian football, he simply said NO. I asked as to why and he walked around the pub turning off all TV`s then coming back to the bar sarcasitcally smiled and asked "happy now"!!!
At the price of drinks served - over £4 a pint this is unacceptable!
As said previously - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
Strange place. Seems a little bit disjointed to me. It looks nice enough, like it's been given some TLC recently, but the underlying feel is still 'boozer'. Sitting in the bar area you get the feeling that they refurbished around the locals who just picked up their feet as the floor was relayed...
The service is good and the selection of drinks too, but I do feel like it's more of a quick drink while you're passing kind of place.
