For a small menu and the claim to be the best falafel in town, I’ld say it lives up to the reputation. Few dishes, fairly quick service, and fairly friendly as well. Eaten there a few times now, at different times, weekdays and weekends, after discovering it only a couple of weeks ago. The price can be argued about but it’s not too high for the simple dishes.
I wouldn’t go as far as calling this the “best” falafel in town, but it’s pretty good and the perfect spot for lunch when exploring Berlin-Mitte.
The falafel is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the sauces are yummy, and the salad is fresh. Service is fast and there is lots of seating outside. The prices are on the higher side, but nothing outrageous considering the location.

Never mind talking about this as the best Falafel in Berlin, it was probably the best I've ever had. I couldn't think of falafel balls that were better done. My only complaint is that the Humus was unexceptional - that said the ingredients used were fresh and tasty so I'm not cutting any stars for that as it was made for German rather than middle-eastern tastes.

Why when the food is this good, do people complain of a 50 cent price difference? As the old adage goes ... You get what you pay for. What you get here is probably the best Falafel in Berlin!!

I have only had takeaway but I really like this place.
The falafel is made to order.
The salads are fresh, perky, crispy and tasty.
Tahini good.
The bread, very good.
I really like this place!

Good food, music, and decor. The meat was lean and flavorful. Good spicy sauce. Quick service and friendly. But a tad pricy.

I came here on the strength of it's Qype reviews, which I was reading while hanging out in the beer garden of Tascheles. Everyone chose the dada plate, and it was amazing. Even the members of our party that weren't particularly hungry finished. Not because the portions were small, but because it was so tasty that you couldn't leave anything!

it's true...Dada Falafel is fab.
Fresh falafel and salad and also the variety of sauces really set this place apart. I was delighted that my falafel sandwich not only had chili sauce but also some kind of yellow curry thing, sesame sauce, AND hummus. There's some griping about the price being 3eur instead of 2.5, but many falafel places will charge an extra 50cents for hummus anyway, so the price is pretty equivalent. And anyway, I am not going to squabble over a 50 cent price difference when there is more than 50 cent's worth difference in quality!
The decor is cool, as is the music, and it all seems very clean--another three elements that make this place stand out from your typical Imbiß.
Come a little early to beat the crowds, and you're golden :)
One of my favourite falafel places in Berlin. Usually go for the Dada Teller (Meat/Veggie plate) which has a bit of everthing and Pita bread. It's a pretty small place but there are seating outside and in the building next door. Very fast but be prepared to queue up during lunch times - can get busy but totally worth it!

A true Falafel sandwiche “just like Mom used to make it”

Compared to most falafel places, the salad that comes with your falafel or schawarma is crisp and fresh, not diced up into small bits, pickled, or soggy.
Because of the location, you end up paying 0,50 to 1,00 more for the to-go (im brot) or the plate (teller) than you would in other parts of the city. But this is true for most of the falafel places in the area, so the fresh salad really sets it apart from the competition; which you can see in the line that usually extends out the door.
If you’re in the area and need a quick bite, get in line with everyone else!

Great little Lebanese falafal takeaway. Bars and stools to sit in for a quick bite. Fairly reasonably priced. Good freshly made falafal served in bread or on a plate with tahini, houmous, salad and Arabic bread (not pitta but not too dissimilar!).

I had the “dada plate”, which is supposedly a mixture of all dishes, at a price of €7. It is the biggest and most expensive option on the menu. Definitely enough to fill me up, it was delicious and the service was fast. Falafel was heavenly. The only criticism I can think of is that the place is relatively small and there may not be enough room to eat inside… and outside is very cold in February!

Had heard this place was good, but had thought it would be expensive. One day I thought I’d 'treat myself’ and have a falafel. Was pleasantly surprised to discover it was only 3 euros for falafel im brot (in bread). It was such a delicious falafel, nicely spiced, with pitta bread instead of the standard cruchy, slightly sweet bread you get elsewhere. The salad was also amazing, so fresh, with carrots, tomatoes, lettuce, cucumber….delicious!

Remarkable Hummus* sandwich (pita bread+hummus+salad+olive oil)
Hummus: a paste made of mashed chickpeas, tahini paste, oil, lemon juice, and garlic

Being as I had just left the Dr.’s office which was close and it was lunchtime, I thought to myself, “I should try Dada and see what all the hype on Qype is about”. I decided on the delicious Beef Schwarma plate, I thought at the time of receiving it that it looked a bit small but that was not the case. The meat had been nicely marinated in a sweet and spicy sauce. I almost thought it was too sweet at the time but now that a number of hours have passed without heartburn, I think it was OK ;) The salad, sauces and hummous that came with it were also great.
I sat on a little table outside as it was sunny and beautiful weather. I would highly recommend it. Although I must go back to try their falafel.

Absolutely one of the best falafels in Berlin. Comes fresh and fast.

Let me explain the 4 instead of 5 stars…
I’m rating it based on prices in Kreuzberg… I know I shouldn’t dock it for being in the location it’s in, BUT, it WOULD HAVE gotten 6 stars from me if it was 50 cents cheaper, indicating that it isn’t cashing in on the affluent location.
The food:
Tasty, fresh. What more is there to say? This is also one of the few places I trust the beef in Berlin. The falafel is top notch as well. Sauce is excellent, you won’t be dissatisfied here, only if you’re like me and expecting to pay only 2.50 for your sandwich…
Highly recommended nonetheless!

Really good, insanely fresh falafel, schawarma, and more, all for very good prices. Sure, you can get cheaper falafel in Berlin, but it won’t come with nearly as many tasty sauces. The only thing lacking here is seating room. In the summer you can sit outside, but in the winter….you may have to skip the plate and just get it ‘im brot’ to take with you. Well worth it, all around.

really good stuff on offer.
If your budget allows for that, choose one of the “Teller”
