Compliment

This pales in comparison to East West, but fills in the gaps so that the pair provide everything you could need day to day. It's a corner shop with some unusual sweets and cakes. Their chocolate muffins are surprisingly nice for packaged cakes, and they do Haribo jelly babies. Yummy!
Aside from snacks and drinks, the main draw of the shop is its magazines, with a good range of academic magazines such as New Scientist and the Economist, but also some more obscure ones, and an excellent range of foreign newspapers and magazines.
Finally, it operates as a mini stationery shop. This can be surprisinly expensive: I bought some individual sheets of A3 for an extortionate amount each. They were prepared to sell them individually from their photocopier, but it would probably have been cheaper for me to photcopy something white and get the paper that way! They do stamps, photocopying and faxing, so very useful. Also a good range of greetings cards.
