I was fairly non-plussed unlike most of the other reviewers. The furniture looked cool, but it was an absolute pain to sit on. They have no bitter. The food is really overpriced. Still, it’s not that bad! I enjoyed my burger, and we moved on swiftly to a proper pub with proper tables!

Of all the perks that I’ve had working for companies - this has been my favourite. This member’s club has media and creative written all over it. A few months back, their gallery hosted a display of works by Bansky, with fantastic feedback.
Two bar areas, a dining / meeting room, a games room complete with table football, XBOX 360 and pool table. My main complaint is based on how awful the pool table is - it’s been thrown in with nary a thought to making it level, and so has a bias to the left. Take heed.
The private cinema is simply awesome, and very comfortable. The food is pricey but very good, and I’ve found that during the day, when it’s quiet, it’s an office away from office, with fast, free wireless internet access and a plethora of power sockets.
The staff are polite, and greet you by your first name after you’ve swiped in (or before if you show up too often). It’s clean, and the toilets on the second floor have, well, they have the most interesting wall tiles I’ve ever had the pleasure to be forced to stare at, being various stylishly-silhouetted depictions from the Kama Sutra.
If I had a complaint (other than the pool table) it would be that the selection of beers is woeful. If you want anything that resembles a bitter, the closest you can get is Guinness, with Leffe Brown coming in a distant second. Otherwise your choice is Stella, and other lagers of that ilk.
Saturdays, and The Hospital is kid-friendly, with childrens screenings in the cinema, and a few kid’s options on the menu. On the subject of the menu - their Bacon sandwich is great. Blindingly expensive for what it is, but it’s worth having just one. Superb ciabatta bread; thick tasty bacon; the mild threat of butter.
As has been mentioned by other reviews - this place is a great joint for networking, or just having a quick drink before heading on into Covent Garden. When it’s busy, from quiz nights to whisky tasting, it’s great. When it’s quiet, it’s great.
Somehow, The Hospital has the balance just right.

Great hanging place for the media crowd. Good place for an event too (day or evening, launch or networking event). Very funky and slightly kitch deco, maybe a bit too much (it may look “dated” quite quickly) but definitely fun. We had a good dinner, very professional service and had a great time in the “Forest Room” (private room with forest-print wallpaper all around). Only reservation is that it was pretty quite for a Tuesday evening… Let’s hope it was the good weather that stopped people filling up the bar that evening (Tuesday)otherwise the Hospital my quickly be turned back into something else….

One of the most interesting places I have visited, I luckily managed to dodge the paparatzi who were there to snap Girls Aloud.
The lobby was funkily decorated and the staff very helpful. The bar areas were perfect to network within and well organised to float around.
It was all a bit surreal while I was there with the archive of things left unsaid happening while I was there.
They are doing some interesting things with a social network to help their media members connect with other media folk within a closed community.
