Stumbled across the club last week. Been walking past for years without knowing it was there. Small entrance, but once in, opens out into a sizeable place. Have to say, pleasantly surprised, as it’s not your stereotypical den of iniquity so often portrayed in the media. Staff and customers were very friendly (not surprising since it’s family run); the tables were the best i’ve played on, and reasonably priced too, as were the drinks. There were even..women in there! I didn’t eat, but the food coming out of the kitchen looked great. I’ve deducted a star as the decor needs attention in places, which is a shame, as everything else is excellent. Don’t get me wrong, compared to other clubs, it’s a palace, but I think modern day clubs need to get more contemporary. All in all, a great evening if you want a relaxing, value for money experience playing snooker or pool. Oh, and by the way, they have a 24/7 alcohol licence.

Churchill's is a great place for a game of snooker or american pool, it's open 24 hours, has reasonably priced drinks, friendly staff and you can even grab a decent bite to eat there. Oh yeh and they offer free hire of the function room
