This is a classic at this point in Hamburg. Not the easiest to find but right there in the middle of it all, that is if you're shopping on the Moenckeberg street. I personally never go shopping there...I just go to visit this cafe. It's upstairs in the Levantehaus and has a really nice atmosphere. It does at times get quite full but I still brave the crowds for this place. Great coffee with reasonable prices and I actually just tend to go there for the breakfast which I find very good. Service can be a bit dodgy when they are full but nevertheless they mostly remain attentive. If you can either try to sit on the windows to have a good view out and in of the cafe. It tends to be as I mentioned "hopping" and you can do some good people-watching. Or, if you are just stopping in for a quick drink, sit up front on at the "two-ssie's" (tables for two) near the cake bar up front. Oh, and if you are up for it, the cake is real good too.
