Cinemaxx Dammtor

One of my favorite cinemas! It is very centrally. The cinema halls are big and comfy! I like it. :) The food and drinks are expensive but this is quite normal.

It's getting more and more expensive.

I paid pro ticket 13.5 for the movie UP (in 3D). And they don't have student price.

I mean it's a cartoon. and it costed 13.50€
Ok fine it was in 3D. It was great and funny and comfortable and and and...

But it's a cartoon :P
And we had to give back the awesome 3D glasses.

I like this cinema very much, especially the 1st one (there are about 8 theatres in total under one roof). It’s big, airy and comfy at the same time. Posters and popcorn smell set the mood. Queues proceede quick, although it can be full on weekends and public holidays. Tickets are not too cheap, we paid 16,5 eur for 3 balcony tickets (they are a bit more expensive). With the screen size of space observatory it was all worth it.

Two things to note: trailers of coming movies last at least 10-15 min, so don’t panic if you’re late and also female toilettes are hopelessly full after the movie. Some things never change! In my humble oppinion, that genius mind who’ll solve this female toilette problem should get not less than a Nobel prize.

Not the cheapest cinema in town, but to me me a good one. Though I don’t like multiplex cinemas a lot, I feel quite comfotable in this on. This might be due to the friendly folks serving me there, or due to the fact that I always find a new film I have not seen before. Or maybe it is because the tickets can be bought via internet and be picked up at an automat within seconds. There’s nothing like the feeling of overtaking a long queue of waiting people…
