Excellent curry, very attentive yet unobtrusive service and excellent value for money. The house specials really are special and the standard fare is equally tasty. My wife had the chicken korma and it was so tender that it almost melted in her mouth. Highly recommended as one of the best curry houses in London despite the somewhat less than fancy location close to Victoria Station (although this does make it ideal for grabbing a very good meal before catching a train or as a first port of call at the end of a long train journey). five stars all around!
Just wanted to second ahunter's review. Walking down the road and going into the first curry house you see is always a little risky, but the Buckingham Balti House did not disappoint.
Their Chicken Jalfrezi completely sated my curry craving.
For three curries, two rice and a naan we paid just over £30.
Might have to try this place for a sit down meal at some point.

FACT - It is nearly impossible to order indian food at lunch time in the Victoria area. We probably spent 20 minutes searching for places to deliver to our offices on Buckingham Gate. After much frustration we headed out onto Buckingham Palace road and found this little balti house. The food came quickly and we raced back to the office as quickly as possible. The chicken tikka masala hit the spot and i'm feeling very satisfied now!
I will be going back :)
