15 reviews of CASA SPA in English
I have just experienced my first Hammam session courtesy of friend’s generous gift. What a gift! I was initially a little nervous about what to expect but I am now a convert. I loved the whole experience which left me feeling both relaxed yet invigorated and full of well being. Not least because of the care and attention we received from Casa. They were lovely and welcoming and made us feel very special. I didnt want to leave this glorious haven to face the realities of the outside world. I shall be back.
I booked Casa Spa for myself and my sister as a treat - we were both really impressed! We had the Exotic Rural Spa - £149 (Two for one Offer). We had a brillant time, we loved each of the treatments especially the honey hair mask!
I would definetly recommend to all friends and family, and would will definitley come again!
I was given a voucher for Christmas, and was very excited to go. It all started well when we were told that we were going to be given a complimentary Hammam experience. I've only experienced the Turkish version, so I am unable to comment if the experience was an authentic Moroccan Hammam. The steam room is quite small, and they seem to use tea towels sewn together as the exfoliating scrub. But overall, not too bad.
The problem is that place is badly run. None of the staff knew what treatments each customer were meant to have, and they do not communicate to customers clearly. When I was there, customers ended up getting fed up of waiting, and started getting changed only to then be told that they were due to get another treatment.
While waiting in the reception, I witness terrible customer service, as they did not seem to know which customers were due in at what time, and which treatments they had paid for! They also have a ridiculous system of requiring the customers to email them to confirm attendance when customers had already paid!
Overall, the place is badly run, and I will never return or recommend anyone to try it out. This is the first time I have ever written a review as I feel strongly about this.
halima Casa Spa have multiple steam rooms, each can accommodate between 5 and 8 people comfortably. Whilst you are entitled to your opinion I must correct you on a number of points. Firstly, the mitts used to exfoliate your skin during the hammam are not tea towels sewn together, they are professionally made loofah mitts. The staff are always polite and professional and when the spa is busy it can appear chaotic as clients that have differing treatments are occasionally moved from one area to the next. Also clients are asked to close their eyes and relax in the relaxation areas rather than sit in reception watching the bookings process. Casa Spa ask clients to email in to confirm all their contact details or to complete the online booking form so that central reservations are able to confirm their booking by reply – we fail to see how securing your booking via email is a ‘ridiculous system’. Finally, we are very sorry that you did not enjoy your experience. We have many clients who return regularly and thoroughly enjoy their time in the hammam/spa and they recommend us to family, friends and colleagues and we are sincerely disappointed that you didn’t fall under that category.

I visited Casa Spa for the second time with a friend this morning on our second £10 spa deal. Casa Spa is a great experience. It is a traditional Hamam so don't expect it to be like any other spa you have visited. All staff are friendly and hard working (as well as attentive). My friend and I were extremely well looked after. The owner is a character who runs the spa very well. Everything is clean and the atmosphere is relaxing and the treatment (a traditional hamam left my skin very smooth). Will definately visit again. A gem in the centre of town - amazing value for money!
halima Casa Spa would like to thank you for your kind comments. We look forward to seeing you and your friend again!

I went here for a girls' day for a massage. Definitely very pleased. The facilities are very updated and clean. I don't get massages very often, but this was nicer than other places I have been, complete with separate changing/locker room and heated massage table. Great deal and friendly service.
Thanks
halima Casa Spa would like to thank you for your kind comments. We look forward to seeing you and your girl friends again! We always have offers for girls-day pampering - please keep an eye on our web site.

What a fabulous way to spend a Sunday afternoon with girlfriends!
What is unique about Casa Spa Vs many other "stark-white-shhh!-Spas" is that you feel truly welcome and comfortable throughout your stay. You can chat, laugh and actually spend time with your friends as opposed to being split out into other little rooms and only joining back up at the end. It is by no means a raucous affair, but it is fun to enjoy the pampering and freezing cold splash in the hamman together.
The women who run the spa are very courteous and really do enjoy treating others. It's a little wacky in places, but very clean and they obviously take their bookings process very seriously so you don't feel crowded or really share the space with others.
The price is also a major plus. For 65 we enjoyed two hours of treatments, topped off with some fresh fruit. An absolute bargain compared to other spas in central London where one massage would be 90 plus.
If you have a couple of girlfriends who are in need of some TLC, or a small hen's party then this place would be perfect!
Warning: Skin will be baby smooth and you will not be able to stop bfriend touching it! ;)

I took my girlfriend to Casa for a Couples treatment involving Hamam, hair masks and foot rubs. We were given mint tea when we arrived and chatted to Helen, who is very friendly and chatty.
When we went downstairs to the treatment rooms, we were greeted with a lovely Phillipino girl and lots of candles. We had the place to ourselves, (it's not a massive place so it still felt cosy) and after we'd got changed we went straight int0o the steam room where we relaxed for about 10 minutes before being splashed with cold water (which we needed badly!)
Our host rubbed us down with abrasive gloves and we saw all the dead skin come off (yuk). She was very thorough, and also got us pretty naked (a tip - guys don't take a girl there if you think she'll be embarrassed at this point!)
Then we had this mud and paste put on, some honey stuff in our hair and then another 5 minutes in the steam. Then we had a shower and washed it all off.
Then we lay down on some comfy cushions and ate fruit salad and sweets, had more tea and chatted as the host treated our feet.
Then she left us alone and we chilled out for about another 10 or 15 minutes before getting dressed again and heading back.
It was a great experience and one that I would definitely recommend!

What a gem of a place! So unique and a complete contrast to the hustle and bustle of the area and the busy main road outside. The reception area is a little small but once inside you are enveloped in Moroccan ambience. Downstairs in the hammam having your treatments you are completely detached from the stresses of daily life. Both myself and my friend loved the whole experience and will be returning as soon as we can.
Helen, you and your staff are stars! I brought my mum to London and we thoroughly enjoyed the mother and daughter spa day - everyone should try it :-) We will be back! Hugs to you all and thank you again xx
I was a little dubious about visiting Casa Spa when I searched the internet and found some of these reviews. I received a gift voucher of an Exotic Rural Spa for two for my birthday so I couldn't give it back. However, my fears were unfounded as my experience with Helen and her team was fantastic! The Spa was busy but everyone was happy and chatting amongst themselves, it was clean, everything was well prepared and we were treated like royalty. Do not listen to these reviews, try it for yourself and then decide. If I hadn't given it a chance me and my girlfriend would have missed out on one of the best spa treatments of our lives. You must give it a go!
Possibly one of the worse Spa's have been too. Jadehalls descriptions below is exactly the same to my experience apart from the fact that my poor boyfriend had to endure a totally female dominated environment, with no changing facilities for him and with other women being made to strip off at around him. Good job he is shy really. Save your money couples and anyone else looking for a relaxing time as this will only frustrate you. However we did have to laugh in the end as the whole thing got worse and worse with each passing moment of dehydration.
Londonner83 I totally agree with above comment, I've been there with my partner this weekend and it was the worst spa/Hammam experience in my all life. I have been to lot of diferent hammam in Morroco, Turkey, Spain, France but this one was stressful and unhygienic. Staff is unpleasant, not telling you what will happen, making you wait in a tiny wooden box (supposed to be a sauna but that doesn't work). Steam room are too small for 5 persons (another couple + a staf member). Decoration is a scary mix and music not always relaxing. Staff make you feel like you are a number.
I won't recommend it to my worst enemy.
The only positive feedback I can give is when all this dreadful experience is finished you get a nice fruit salad.
This was the experience my partner and I had at the Seymour Place branch.

Casa Spa was found on the internet by one of my staff as we are planning a team day to relax from our work stresses. I visited in advance to sample the spa and what a sanctuary of calm tranquility, professiional attentive staff and clean surroundings. The steam was followed by being washed in black soap, jugs of cold water poured over you to open up the pores, then a shower.
I was left to relax on a bed covered with warm towels left eating fress fruit listening to calm music before taken to have the final massage. Tis was my best experience I have had in London the spa gets 4 stars from me and I look forward to my staff team at the spa. Highly Reccommended!

Moroccan Excellence on your doorstep!
After walking the hard streets of London. I was determined to make the hammam my first stop. My fear of humidity melted away as I realised that I could relax and, more importantly, breathe. The full hammam experience includes a series of wraps applied while you stew. First came the honey hair mask. It contains only natural products and smells good enough to eat. The effect was amazing and my hair looked unusually shiny afterwards.Next up was the black soap and black olives. after being lathered the scrubbing began. This is not the sort of exfoliation offered by spas that tip toe around their customers. Prepare yourself for an all-over rubdown with a Moroccan loofah that could easily double as a scrubbing brush. This turned out to be nothing to be worried about, it worked wonders on my skin removing all rough areas and my skin felt soft for days afterwards. I followed the hammam with a massage, which chased away the last traces of my hectic shopping day. But a range of facials are also on offer if you want to remove the dead skin from your face as well as your body. And I’d recommend a stint in the infrared sauna for anyone suffering from tension or muscle injuries.Throughout my time there, the staff were very relaxed and perfectly content for me to wander from treatment to treatment with the odd rest on the sofa. You may never want to leave. Amazing experience that I will definately be repeating the next time I'm in the area.
lindakirkland Fantastic, once again! This is my second visit to Casa Spa and this time not only did I relive the exotic experience of the Hammam, but I relaxed in the Infrared Sauna for 30 mins and I had a 30 min massage on top! My bones stopped aching for a good few days afterwards and my skin was once again rosey and glowing, just like baby skin! I have recommended Casa Spa to everyone and I'm sure they will get the same amazing pampering and feelings that I have had both times that I have been! The staff are very friendly, courteous, accommodating and highly professional - well done!

Casa Spa is a stress free . c 'est l'endroit , real Morrocan Hammam in the heart of London, privately used, not expensive. highly recommended for body treatments and face lift. sincerely you got to experience it, friendly and dedicated beauty therapists makes feel you good and appreciate the value of their efforts. Morrocan tea and fresh juices served with complement in your private relaxation area.
A wonderful place to unwind, beautiful setting, soothing and unobtrusive. Ladies Spa Day is perfect for unwinding after a hard week. I’d recommend it to anyone. Price is not cheap, nearly £190 for a day’s treatment, but you do get what you pay for in London. I tried the Porchester Centre but would not go there again in spite of a delicious massage due to the lack of cleanliness and noise from large groups of girls with 2 for 1 discount vouchers, half of whom are speaking on mobile phones! Casa Spa is refreshing, tranquil and doesn’t attract punters looking for the cheapest route to spa treatments. Recommended.
