When you're looking for a special gift for a traditionalist, with animal-loving or botanical tendencies, this packed shop is worth a peek. There's a huge range of hand-embroidered cushions here, in a variety of shapes and sizes.
Their floral (and fauna) selection is very pretty. The canine choice offers a wide range of breeds; the Cocker Spaniel example was particularly appealing for my two friends who own the pets. The rose cushions would win over many English garden fans; the 'tree of life with birds' design would add an elegant flourish to most neutral décors.
The cushions are expensive (unsurprisingly) but will add enduring heritage style and, if you visit at sale time, you can pick-up a time-honoured treasure for an unbeatable price.
