Hilton Helsinki Kalastajatorppa, Helsinki

We had a really nice stay here. The hotel is located nearby to the city centre at a marketplace. From our room we had a great view over the water. Alone the view in the morning was always amazing. The food of the hotel was very tasty. The breakfast rich and in the evening we ate a typically Finnish Christmas menu and were amazed. The hotel seemed to be quiet and clean. Upstairs was a small gym and a small pool.

near the nokia office. plus! a bit spartan with the decor but typically finnish functional. lots of tv stations.gym is ok. weights and a few cardio machines. quite far from downtown leaves you quite isolated in the winter.

We got there by mistake and could not change this to more central hilton that evening.one star off for that.anyways. a really nice lake view, but thats it.Even if you take a walk around the lake theres not much to see. I think this place is more for old ppl who do not want to go out and just relax. about 15 min taxi ride to Helsinki centrum.

Past its best times, but very comfortable anyway. I stayed in a deluxe room with a panoramic window to the lake which provides a wonderful view. Good to relax. Unfortunately the windows cannot be opened at all.

Breakfast buffet has the usual offering of english, american and continental breakfast.
