Review of Mountains View from 6 May 2009

WOW, We have stayed at Millbrook cottages and Bob and Kate were very enthusiastic about Austria, We understand why! The chalet is 5* and we loved the Wii. The chalet is slightly above the rest of the village and this gives absolutely fantastic views over the mountains. Yesterday is was 23 on the 4th May !! We can still see snow on the tops of the mountains, A great place to stay, try paraplu for the best schnitzel I have tasted and at a good price. If you have never been to Austria, this is the place to stay

Review of Mountains View from 27 April 2009

We stayed at Mountains View during June 2008. What a find! it is a beautiful chalet in a fantastic location. The views are stunning. All the mod cons you need and we had a great time on the nintendo wii.
We have been to Austria many times and this knocks socks of anywhere else we have stayed. I highly recommend it for families and it would be great if there was just 2 of you.
The weather was great (mid 20s) and we enjoyed swimming in the nearby lake, biking and eating the local cakes. We have booked to return again this September and we are really looking forward to it.

Review of Mountains View from 18 January 2009

We stayed here during Jan 09 and it was the most fantastic skiing holiday we have been on. The chalet is beautiful and the owners have put so much thought into making you feel at home. We learnt to ski in Neukirchen whilst we were there and we are hooked. We will be going back next January and staying at Mountains View again! This is highly recommended.

Review of Mountains View from 17 January 2009

Very nice place to stay but quite expensive!! best to share the cost with others also with a changing climate snow cannot always be promised and seasons are shorter. There is a real fire which makes it warm but its quiet cold downstairs in the bathroom as the heating is only on for a short time. The area is nice and its very peacful and quiet. Check there is snow before you book if going in the winter.

Note: In Austria you have to separate all your rubbbish into bags and put into a dustbin down the road and although its a pain, its an excellent idea I wish the UK would do the same. Glass, plastic, paper and food cannot be mixed in one dustbin. Make sure you ask the owners how and where to do this as there is a fine if you don’t not follow this rule.

Review of Mountains View from 1 September 2008

We had a wonderful summer holiday. The chalet was luxurious, comfortable and spotless with everything you could need for your holiday including spectacular views of breathtaking scenery. It was well placed for interesting days out and wonderful to come home to every evening - with dinner al fresco on the veranda and a family game on the Wii before bed for the kids and a relax on the enormous comfy sofa and a DVD for us. Didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to go back.

Review of Mountains View from 26 April 2008

Luxurious chalet in amazing Austrian countryside. Close to 3 ski areas, walks and cycle routes. Need a car to get best out of the area and holiday. We loved the Nintendo Wii, double jacuzzi bath and wood burner, very romantic and fun place to stay. Highly recommended.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Mountains View. The chalet is of a very high standard, peaceful and within an easy reach of all the ski runs (Kitzbuhel, Wildkogel and Kaprun). We are looking forward to coming back next year !

Review of Mountains View from 3 March 2008

We had Christmas week(2007) in the chalet, an enchanting and unforgettable time. Plenty to do for skiers and non skiers alike, the 14 km toboggan run is a must for ALL, even we over 65s managed it with great hilarity. The chalet is well appointed, warm and comfortable and runs an honesty policy(you replace any food or drink you use) – a bonus when the shops are shut over holiday periods. Good supermarket in Mittersill and many good restaurant/bars in the locality. To wake up each morning to the glorious views was unbelievable as was being so near the slopes with a convenient ski bus. The nearest slope is 1km away and from here you can ski across the mountains to Kitzbuhl in a few hours, with convenient and delightful restaurants en route, it is well signposted. Also enjoyed walking in the nearby national parks, though the cross country skiing looked strenuous!! Enjoyed so much, we have already booked to return in 2009.

Review of Mountains View from 3 March 2008

We stayed at Mountains View in January 08, The location is quite stunning, The sking was very good, you have the choice of three Ski areas with in a ten minute drive, or the free bus service that we took advantage off. The chalet has been appointed to a very high standard, Jucuzzi bath, infared Sauna, Bose Hi Fi to name a few. Highly recommended and we are looking forward to visiting next year.
