Therapy Hair And Spa

I'm really suprised at negative review as I have always found the beautican I have had to be extremely pleasant and interested in me as a customer.  I can't comment on above treatment as I usually get nails and eyebrows done, but have absolutely no complaints or I wouldn't return.  I met the owner for the first time at my last treatment and she was lovely...even offered to honour a deal I had just missed.  I have recommended Therapy to friends who have all been pleased with service, and I would definately recommend again.

Shockingly bad customer service - rude staff and manager. Don't waste your money. I bought an online voucher for a treatment here. I got shown into the room and told just to undress and lie on the table - no explanation of what the treatment involves. Room was freezing cold, I told the therapist this and she did nothing to resolve it. She talked about herself throughout the treatment. I was meant to get a body exfoliation, facial and scalp massage. Rather I feel that I just got some lotion slapped on, didn't get a scalp massage at all, facial lasted about 3 minutes. At one point the therapist said "I'll leave you to relax with the face mask on" and she came back in within a minute!! Had I wanted to put body lotion and face cream on, I could have done this at home. Phoned manager to discuss. Left 3 messages, then emailed, apparently they took my number down wrong - 3 times. In fact she then read "my house phone number" back to me and it was someone elses entirely. Clearly other people are also phoning to complain. She then refused to accept that her staff could have done wrong and suggested that I wouldnt have been happy with anything. Refused to accept that she has a responsibility under the law to refund me. It's advertised as Therapy Face and Body Detox - 1hr 15 mins - £70 The treatment starts with some body brushing to increase the circulation. A detoxifying salt and oil scrub is then massaged in to the skin and you are wrapped up to let the body absorb all the goodness whilst a facial and scalp massage is carried out. You are then unwrapped, scrub is removed and the body is drenched in moisture rich skin nourishing milk bath. Yeah right, this is quite possibly the worst service I've ever had from a beautician. I'm taking it up with trading standards, as management are so uncooperative, despite me explaining the law to them. Wanted a destress and detox. Ended up pulling my hair out.
