Compliment

If someone had told me that I'd have found an amzing Thai Restaurant in the middle of nowhere, I wouldn't have believed it. This place is about ten miles out of nowheresville inbetwen Mile End and Bethnal Green Tube. It's not easy to find so do use the map.
That said, it is worth looking for. And it's only a ten minute walk from either tube.
It's surprisingly pretty. I expected it to look like a glorified take away. No offence to those nice East Enders, but it was a shock that it looked so upmarket. Like it should have been in Central London.
The guys ho work here are proud to. They like their restaurant and that shows in everything they do. The food is great. The wine list is simple but more than fine. We enjoyed it much more though as we weren't meant to come out. We definately weren't meant to be drinking! It did make the whole evening more fun though...
The food is great. It's simple but it works. It's all about flavour and it's a shock. Sometimes you go to Thai places in town and they tend to be a little bland. In flavour and decor. The only reason I've given it four stars instead of five is I wish I'd ordered the chicken curry instead of the lamb - I'm not sure the lamb worked very well.
I'll come back here. Hopefully very soon. Don't bring a huge group of people here, but sneak in when you're meant to be somewhere else and you'll have a great time.
