Review of chinese food stall from 20 December 2009

This is a food stall literally on teh street. It looked really yummy and exotic and enticing so I just had to try.

Alas, what a disappointment. The fried wan-tans were cold and greasy and yucky.

The steamd bun with black beans was nice but not really anything special.

Then I tried the pork in a leaf. That one turned out to be the nicest of all dishes. The rice had taken on some of the leaf's flavour and tasted a bit like tea which went well with the pork and mushroom stuffing. But this can't seriously be intended to be take-away street food! I don't see how one could eat it without sitting down with a plate, knife and fork.

The rice steamed in a leaf with cherries (sweet) was awful. Looked like a brick once unpacked.

So, sorry, dear food stall. That's not it.
