Urban Beach - Cannon Street

I visited this salon in April and was treated extremely rude by the pregnant blonde manager, I left a review about that because I was so shocked that business get away with that kind of behaviour towards their client who PAY for services. Then I went back in May to give it another go as they had a great offer on everything. The facial was perfect and the beauticians are always lovely and very nice. Once at the till and the manager put through my name she saw who I was and that it was the name that left the bad review about her, she left the counter as I was standing there ready to pay. So a brunette puts through my payment and tells me she needs to have a word with me outside ( you know like when you are naughty at school)...just for her to tell me I was extremely mean and vicious to post a review like that about her colleagues and that day her colleague heard terrible news and I shouldn't have posted a review about staff but about the business and if I don't remove it I will be prosecuted LOL...I was so shocked I just looked at her then said my lunch break is over and I have to go. Thinking about their audacity and unprofessionalism I posted another review to mention they need to deal with rudeness and the bad reviews will stop. I guess they had to delete both of my reviews now..I'll just copy paste this message and post it everyday :)

City girls, if you need a wax or anything else please go to St Pauls shopping centre, you can get everything done there and you will be treated with respect!

This is the worst service I have ever had in my life!
Not only the staff is unprofessional, but also the manager is extremely rude an unprofessional!
Places like these should be closed down and not exist!!!

FYI: Never written a review in my life and always considered it as a waste of time, but this time I just feel like I have to do it. 

P.S. If you want to experience a countryside service and quality, then you should definitely go to this place!

This is a great salon with really friendly service. I get waxing, manicures and facials done here and the service is always very good. The therapists and receptionists are friendly and helpful and i always enjoy going in as much for the chat as anything else! there are good offers on here quite regularly too which always help. I can definitely recommend this salon , it's excellent.

I have visited many salons inside and outside of London and I can safely say this is my absolute favourite.

The staff are friendly and always make you feel at ease and very welcoming.

The treatments are top notch and they do great promotions and competitions. 

I've been going to Urban beach for sunbeds, waxes and I've tried a facial (free of charge as a special birthday celebration) and I have always had the best service. 

I'm moving offices soon and will be making sure I make time to come back for visits - even though it won't be my local salon anymore :(

I have been coming here since July on the recommendation of a friend, and have been coming back ever since.

The staff are professional, helpful and friendly. The Therapists give you personalised attention and are always very gentle and professional. The atmosphere is calming and relaxing, and the salon is clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!

I have visited Urban Beach several times over the last year and I have never been disappointed. The staff make you feel really welcome. It can sometimes be embarissing having your bikini wax done, however the staff at Urban beach always make me feel comfortable.

I recently took advantage of the 3 for 2 offer this week. I had a 30 minutes neck, back and shoulder maggage by Laura. It was great, very relaxing and the mood lighting in the room was perfect. Laura also gave me a facial which was very, very relaxing and my skin felt amazing afterwards. I had some troublesome areas that Laura really tackled for me.

Babs normally does my waxing and is a friendly and cheery lady. She's very quick with the waxing and gentle at the same time. I was in and out in a flash.

Tasha the receptionist is always very pleasent on the phone and in person.

Overall, great place to go, in the city, open late!

Im a regular visitor to UB Cannon Street as it's in a great location to where i work.

The salon has much to offer and the staff are always very helpful and knowlegable on both equipment and treatments.  
It is also very clean and tidy and amazes me how much they have fitted in to such a tiny space! 

The prices for treatments in the City are fair and if you are a regular like myself you can apply for a rewards card that will provide discount to treatments throughout the year. This makes great savings, especially if you are in there like me!

Treatments I would personally recommend are: 
The spray tan as it's a quick application and lasts for 5-7 days, also makes you look a million dollars FAST!  
OPI Gels which are beautifully applied and last for those weeks away on holiday!
Sun Angel - nice relaxing one with plenty of room. It great because it provides a personalised tanning session just for you! It also lets you select music, flow of air and cooling spray.  

The only treatments i havent tried are facials or a massage....but im sure i will give it a go soon :)

Have been here twice, not long after it opened (a little while ago now) once for eyelash tint and then a manicure. Eyelash tint was superb, best I've ever had and can't recommend it enough.

Manicure?! Well, an encounter with a stroppy manicurist who hacked my cuticles and was generally peeved off meant that I vowed never to go back. My nails broke within 24hrs as the manicurist had filed the sides with the wrong file and I had snags upon closer inspection when I got home.

It's easy to find, clean and the receptionist was super friendly and helpful. I would consider going back if I couldn't get into my usual salon.

I was rather apprehensive about coming here after my bad experience with other outlets of this chain but the visit was a very positive surprise.

It's friendly, clean, well equipped.

Loved it!

They currently have "Monday madness" running each Monday: Half price tanning on all single sessions.
