Spent a week staying at this hotel over Christmas, overall I can say I have no complaints.
The room felt a bit smaller than most hotel rooms although there was still enough space to move around and even fit in a nice leather sofa!
Breakfast was dissapointingly cold and the staff were eager to finish it bang on 11am (i.e. pulling the shutters over the breakfast facilities). Felt a bit cheated for the £10 I paid for it.
The bar was excellent although a bit difficult to find anyone to serve you at times (but in all fairness it was Christmas!).
Overall if you are looking for a reasonably priced central Milton Keynes hotel in the heart of some of the trendiest bars and restaurants, this hotel is the one for you.
One plus point this hotel has over the nearby Jury’s Inn is that it has it’s own car park!
It’s central and that’s just about all you can say for this place. Decor has an institutional feel to it, no public areas to speak of, with a rather average breakfast. The bedrooms are clean but stark and it can be noisy depending on which room you are staying, especially at night if you want to open the window. There may be free WiFi in the bar, but not in the rooms. Finally be prepared to pay high parking charges of £10 per night. You can find better quality accommodation slightly further away from the centre.
A budget version of the other Ramada places, it was quite pleasant once I found it! The entrance is on an alley, which makes it feel a little like being on an industrial estate, but the decor was clean and the walk in shower a nice surprise. It’s a short walk straight up from the station, and an even shorter walk to the shops. There are some reataurants around a nearby plaza including a Zizzi and Apartment but I ate at Chez M&S the first night :-)
I love this hotel. It is clean, reasonabley priced and in a great location.
i am not reviewing this place as a hotel but the bar with free wifi and excellent jazz nights on a friday night. ideal for the visitor to kick back with a bottleof wine whilst catching up on there emails etc. based in a new development with a selection of up market resturants and for those on a budget a weatherspoons is also just 50 meters away. be warned if you have a few too many and walk through the main sqaure fountains shoot water out of the ground!
