A proper big, huge branch of Tesco, with facilities including toilets (if you dare). They have a huge range of foodstuffs, including standard veg and groceries, and a huge range of foods from different countries. It’s a good place to find something different, though quality varies. Tins of stuffed aubergine in oil (called something like patlakan?) are delicious, but a mutter paneer ready meal in a box was the foulest thing I’ve ever eaten! A couple of lumps of black coated slimy cheese and about 2 peas in a huge slick of brown sauce… It’s nice this branch seems to really push the boat out in terms of what they get from abroad, but it’s certainly a gamble! I like that though. It’s nice to experiment!

There’s loads of checkouts, so not usually a problem there. Great for bargains and surprises!
