Hawkins Bazaar is a small shop that sells stocking fillers, toys, jokes and curiousities. You find the shop always full with kids on the weekends fiddling with the nic-nacs, but then the chances are you won’t be able to help yourself fiddle with a squidgy ball filled with worms or a rubber chicken.
There is plenty of cheap gifts to be had here of mixed quality. Probably the best thing I have bought here is a giant balloon. It’s about eight metres long, black and light enough that it will float as though filled with helium.
