Les Bains Douches

We have a holiday cottage 2km from this restaurant and absolutely love the place. Every time we visit the cottage we ensure we make a visit to Les Bains Douches.

The Pizzas are cooked the traditional way in a brick oven and it adds to the flavour as they are to die for, especially the sea food pizza which is a personal favourite. For those who prefer something a little different then there are French & English dishes to chose from which are all very tasty. The sweet menu is very varied and their crepes are excellent.

The place is run by a husband and wife combo who are extremely friendly and helpful and both speak English, for those who are not fluent in the local lingo!

It now has an excellent seating area outside the restaurant and across the road from the restaurant for the warmer summer months.

Prices are reasonable and it also does take away!

We visited this restaurant three times over the course of a week in August 2011 and found it to be excellent on all occasions. We went first as a couple and had an excellent late evening meal with a carafe of local rose and a couple of beers for a very reasonable €38. We used it the following lunch time as our boys are pizza addicts and they proclaimed the Magherita the best ever.

The service is friendly and the food is both well cooked and fairly priced. Definitely well worth a visit and a top tip is to ask for a box to take your leftover pizza home as there will be some as they are enormous.
