The prices are high, but it’s a student town - and this place stocks a lot of useful books for students.

The staff range from remarkably polite, helpful and knowledgable to incoherent, grunting goths who sit there reading Lovecraft.

However, if there’s a book you want, there’s a good chance they’ll have it at a reasonable price, and it’s a nice, roomy shop in a good location.

I remember going into a local charity shop as a child and buying 5 famous five book for a pound. Not likely here, it seems that charities now pick and choose only the best of their donations and compete with (the more expensive) second-hand bookshops. Ok, a good selection of books, but a bit over-priced.

Oxfam used to be really good for cheap books, but this place is a bit overpriced for the charity shop world! Good books though.

Nice to browse. Very good books are available here. It is very well presented and you find books under different sections.

You can buy Welsh literature, English literature, CDs, books according to various interests. The people who work here are very friendly.
I like it because it is all for a good cause!
