Review of Rodizio Brazil - Earlsfield from 13 February 2011

Quite possibly one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had in my life. I ate here with a group of friends and we sat there for 3 hours, and barely had any meat served to us. At one point we had to wait 25 minutes between servings. The worst part was it seemed like the waiters were avoiding our table because we were a big group and completely bypassed us to serve tables with people who spoke Portuguese. The manager was incredibly awful I cannot understand how he runs a business. We started off asking nicely and pointing out that we weren't getting served and he would not even look us in the eye dismissing us saying it was going to come soon. He was incredibly rude, blatantly speaking about us in Portuguese to a colleague in front of us, insanely dismissive when we complained, and easily the rudest person I've ever met. It makes me wonder what makes a person go into the customer service sector when they lack such basic business skills.

We came on a groupon voucher and quite frankly would have rather just not have gone at all because it is 3 hours of my life I am never getting back. By the end of the visit we were all so angry we had lost our appetite.

WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

I had a terrible experience dealing with the owners as well, but I dealt with a woman, most likely to be the wife. I never got to use my groupon vouchers. I booked a table for 2 for 10:30 (the opening hours were said to be until mid night and I could only come after work) but once my guest arrived at 10:15 the restaurant was being cleaned and the manager said the kitchen was already closed. She asked about the reservation and he said we were supposed to have come at 10 (I booked with the owner) so she called me to let me know. I was on my way, on a cab and called the booking line again and spoke to this lady who tried to be helpful and apologised a million saying she would investigate what happened and call me back. Not surprisingly nobody called me back and my vouchers expired. I then called and spoke to the owner again, explained what happened and asked if I could still book despite the voucher having expired, but she refused saying I was lying and that they were not closed at the time of my booking and even tried to intimidate me by saying "she has CCTV and could check at any time" but when I insisted that she did, she then said she wanted to finish that conversation and that she would "buy" me dinner if that's what I was trying to get.
I wrote a review on my experience, but for some reason it hasn't been published, but I can see I'm not the only one outraged and shocked by the way their customer service works. I declined her "generous and sincere" offer to buy me dinner and rather losing the money I had paid on the vouchers instead. After seen a few reviews on them, I was relieved to know I have made the right decision and saved myself from more arrogance and another headache
