Lots of wooden tables and a really higgledy-piggledy feel, especially in the upstairs area, Scholars is great for a fun evening out and very popular, despite being s bit of a walk from the rest of the pubs in the centre of town. A lovely, friendly, 'pubby’ feeling pub!

Quiet pub most of the time, but holds a fantastic sunday night quiz - which proved surprisingly difficult to win. Good value drink, but I wouldnt go for the food. Great atmosphere :)
