The Chesterfield Pet Friendly Hotel, Blackpool

We stopped at The Chesterfield and it was everything we hoped it would be! The room was clean and comfortable, so much so that my five year old didnt want to leave it to go and explore Blackpool! Julie and Steve were very welcoming and friendly and make a lovely breakfast!

We were even lucky enough to have a sea view and the location of The Chesterfield is excellent, just off the promenade and a very short walk to the Central Pier.

I would reccomend this hotel to anyone wanting a comfortable and quiet stay in Blackpool and we would definetly stay again!

Just back 26 june 2011 from a 3 night stay at the chesterfield hotel. I cannot praise it highly enough, we had a very warm and welcoming stay. Julie and steve are the most friendly hosts and nothing is to much trouble for them.

I also would recommend having your evening meal there; it is lovely fresh home cooking 100% better than any takeaway , very tasty and cooked beautifully.

We had our dog Darcey with us, she loved it as well, infact she is in a huff today, we think it is because we brought her home.

All in all we had a wonderful stay and will certainly be returning, actually I think we just might become regulars. So thanks Julie & Steve for your hospitality, see you soon.

Just returned from my ' retirement bash ' at the Chesterfield with family
and friends. Even though we take friends with us we know we will be
welcomed by friends when we arrive. We now consider Julie, Steve, Christine, Peter and Ian [ singer ] second family as we have shared many
wonderful breaks there over the past decade or so. Nothing is too much trouble and it is quite the norm, following an extra late night, for Julie to delay breakfast allowing that little bit more time in bed. In conclusion, if you are looking for the friendliest of welcomes, lovely food, value for money, and a feeling of being at ' home ' then look no further. It's the Chesterfield for us.

Just back from spending the September bank holiday weekend in The Chesterfield Pet Friendly Hotel in Blackpool. On arrival we were too early, but still we were allowed to check in with a very warm welcome from Julie who runs the Hotel with her brother Steve. Julie also made us a pot of Coffee with biscuits to welcome us. Nice touch.

The room we had was comfortable, clean, with a double bed, en suite, Kettle (tea and coffee) and a small flat screen Tv and wi-fi. Breakfast was excellent, the portions genorous and served with a smile.

The Bar downstairs is cosy and a nice place to have a quiet drink if you don't like the hustle and bustle of Blackpool at night. The prices of the drink's were good too. Happy hour 8-9 at night. And we met other people using the Hotel who were very friendly for a good chat.

In summing up i would say this is great accomodation, at a great price with very friendly and hard working owners who go out their way to ensure you have a nice stay whilst on holiday. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone; i know i would certainly try The Chesterfield before anywhere else if i was to return to Blackpool.

We have just got back from the Chesterfield and we had a fantastic time. Julie and Steve are the nicest hosts we have ever had in Blackpool. They are very obliging and willing to do what they can to make your stay as nice as possible.

The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. The food is excellent and i would definately recommend having your evening meal in the hotel, it was lovely and very moreish.

There is not one complaint that i have about our stay in the Chesterfield and would recommend it to anyone. Maybe one.............. having to come home!!!!
