I am surprised to read the first two reviews; I have been a customer of Computer Junction for several years, and have always found their service helpful and friendly; they really know their stuff. Only negative is that they get busy and sometimes take longer than the time they estimate to do the repair. Rude? Never!

Review of PC Outlet from 13 June 2012

Took a laptop in after getting a blue screen, was tested and informed it had a faulty hard drive, it was replaced and the system was reinstalled! To my amazement only took 24 hours!

I found Sam the manager very friendly and helpful, and possibly people's experiences as mentioned were during busier periods as he seemed to have a lot on his plate.

Prices were cheap compared to competitors!! THANKS!

Have taken 3 laptops into computer junction now and recommended them to friends when they have had problems. Fixed my laptops within a week and prices were good. When I got my laptop reinstalled because of a virus it came back like new, was much faster than before and also all my pictures from before were saved. Would use them for any repairs of my laptops. All good :)

I totally agree with KirkStJohn regarding what he has said about his experience with this company. I myself and a few other people I know have visited this shop on more then one occasion and have left disappointed.

I personally found the manager also very rude when I visited towards the end of last year, there was a customer in front of me who wanted to speak to him and he didn’t even get up from his desk to come and speak to them. I did not get his name however I believe his name was Samuel as there were business cards on the desk which had a name on called Samuel Rix or something like that , I take it he is the manager of the company.

Also similar to KirkStJohn on one of the times I got down to the shop in the hope of buying a replacement charger for my laptop I wasn’t too happy when I had got up extra early to get to the shop for its advertised opening of 9am during a weekday and by 9.15am there was still no one around to open up so I gave up. But as I have stated already here my friend has also been down to the shop on a weekend when the shop has been closed although it has been advertised as open.

The majority of the staff here are quite friendly and try to give each customer a good service. It’s just a shame that the manager doesn’t care about his customers that he is putting off.

This company may be competitive on prices , but they are not very good at doing what they are advertised to do – give good customer service.

I am sorry that you also had an issue with the manager, although he is very technical he is not so good with customer support hence why he does not serve customers all the time and we will be reviewing his position here due to these comments. I stopped using this shop a few years ago. I always try to support small independant shops rather than the big chains and that was the reason I went there in the first place. After a few visits I vowed never to set foot in the place again. I found the staff in general ok but the manager was probably the rudest, most offensive person I’ve ever encountered in a shop.

Anyway fast forward to the present. I needed a monitor so I thought I’d give them a second chance. I went down there on a Saturday at 10 O’clock which is their advertised opening time. Closed. I waited and waited and finally gave up waiting for them to open at 10.45 and went somewhere else.

Clearly they still fail to understand the meaning of customer service. I won’t go there again and I would advise anyone else not to.

Hi, I am sorry that you have had a bad experience with us, service is one of our core valves and something that i think seperates us from other competitors we strive to give good aftercare for all our customers. I am not sure who you spoke to but i do not think this is an accurate review of our services. Please can you describe who you spoke to and how they were offensive? I would like to rectify this and if you could come in again i will see if there is anything we can do to change your experince.
Towards the end of last year we were having an issue with our Saturday opening times and this should now be back at the standard 10:00 to 16:00. We are also open later in the evenings but do not advertise this.
