Good German restaurant. Portions are big and makes you definitely full. Price is cheap and quality is good. Like to eat the salads in summer. :)

The restaurant has a nice terrace in summer, however it is a bit loud as it is surrounded by 3 streets. The food and service are ok. The atmosphere is pretty lively...but still...just an average place.

Crappy food frankly. Look, schnitzel is not that hard to make. You could find a schnitzel joint just about anywhere that makes it better than these guys. But they’ve got a great location smack dab in the middle of the city and that’s why anyone goes there. Or perhaps there are still people who just don’t know what decent food is.

Anyway, there were several good looking women there on a Tuesday night so at least they’ve got THAT going for them.

went there today (Monday) during lunch time. It was very busy but the atmosphere was lively and the waiters were really friendly. English menus are also available ( the weekly specials are written only in German, though). I had Eisbein with Sauerkraut and potato puree which was one of the weekly special dishes. The Eisbein was juicy and meaty, the sauerkraut was OK and the puree was very delicious and creamy. I am not in the position to judge how authentic it was because i rarely eat Eisbeins, but I like this restaurant because the atmopshere was great and the waiters were super friendly!
