Cherry Tree

we went to cherry tree to day and was shocked how the food had declined. The staff were very helpful. we were served frozen in the middle chilli. dry fish and chips and roast with re heated veg. I have ben before and the fod was very good. wont go again or recomend.

Amazing pub! We started to come here a year ago and keep coming when we can. It set in a lovely rural location, the gardens are well kept and perfect for the kids and dogs. The land lady and staff are always friendly and always make you feel at home. Great ales and the food is superb!! Whether you want a lunch snack to a home cooked british meal they have it all. I took my wife there for her birthday and tried the Al a carte menu in their newly refurbished restuarante, it was top quality food. I would recommend this pub to couples, families, dogs and anyone else I have forgotton

Lovely village pub, bar area is really traditional, with a log fire. The restaurant has had a face lift - those horrible huge oak tables, and uncomfortable chairs have been replaced with smaller tables and comfy leather chairs.

Food is really tasty, and staff and customers are friendly to 'strangers'. The menu is having a revamp soon, as the landlady feels its time for a change, but she assured us that a few of the best selling dishes would stay. She also said she wanted to make a big thing of British Pie Week and St George's Day.

Also a dog and child friendly pub. The landlady has just started holding "mum and toddler" mornings, as she said there is no point in them chatting at the school gate in the freezing cold. Hot drinks, teacakes, free sqush for the kids, and CBBC on the tv!!

It's good to see a publican extending their offering to boost trade in these hard times, so many seem to take the attitude that there is nothing they can do to bring in new trade.

Will definately be using this pub more often, as they also have a dart board, and will hopefully be getting a team together soon.
