I had tried Pilates before going to Moss, but after their introductory class I've found out that it can be something very different that just an enhanced stretching class.
The teacher seemed to know a lot about posture and core muscles and constantly kept an eye on beginners like me.
The studio has a friendly feeling and I spotted tea and a jar of biscuits on a cupboard, something you would never find in a common gym...

Review of Moss Pilates from 26 January 2010

I went to an introductory class at Moss recently. The first thing I want to point out is how professional they were about teaching the basics. They were very attentive and careful to make sure everyone understood how the machines worked and were comfortable.
the teacher struck me as a gym type, which in my mind is less synonymous with Pilates, but I'm just a novice! She was very good at explaining everything in detail, including reminding us to check our posture etc so as not to damage anything.
