This is a well known and popular pub, however it was a bit dated but they have redecorated to try anf fit into Cardiff! It is rather small inside with not many seats available. Staff are very friendly though

This venue really is trying to fit into Cardiff’s hot scene, but maybe it’s trying a little too hard! It’s recent change of décor has improved it’s social stamina but it’s still lacking the Saturday night crew and attracting the Sunday afternoon wine drinkers, but then again The Philharmonic has come a long way from a pre metros hang out spot and a treacherous dance floor of broken glass to a smooth easy going wine bar, so there is still hope yet!
