My husband and I can not thank Super Events enough for their 5 star service. Not only did they delivery fantastic food at a fantastic price but the management team on the day ensured everything went smoothly. SuperEvents go above and beyond to ensure you have a fantastic day and the drinks package is a must, our guests were so impressed by the free bar, which we were only able to supply due to Super Events fantastic drinks package deal- it can not be beaten.

Many Thanks for your work on the day and all your work leading up to our wedding.

My wife Julie's comments are immediately below, and from my perspective Super Event Ltd did a really great job for my daughter's wedding in Sevenoaks, Kent on April 20th. The organisation was spot on and they delivered exactly what they promised - which was a lot ! The marquees in the garden looked spectacular, the food and the service was excellent, and the Super Event staff could not do enough for you. I have no hesitation in heartily recommending this organisation. Peter Seldon

As mother of the bride and sole organiser of the event for 180 guests, I was able to love every minute of the day in the sure knowledge that you were going to give a 5 star plus service. I could not have possibly dreamt of a better day, with guests amazed at the quality of the service and food.

May I suggest that you add the letter B to the end of Super, because for us, that is what you are !

Tony and the team at Super Events did an absolutely fantastic job of our wedding in Kent. We are currently living in Australia so there were many challenging logistics to contend with, but Tony was brilliant right from the start, so I knew we were in safe hands...

In the week running up to the wedding, Tony's team set up two beautiful marquees, and on the day itself, the team were nothing short of exemplary - incredibly attentive and supportive. They made you feel like they REALLY CARED about the event and more importantly, like they all knew exactly what they were doing. Of course, as a bride, you have so much to be thinking about, but they relly took away any concerns or thoughts regarding the actual event, so I could focus on...being the bride!

The food was incredible, the service was fantastic and the whole thing went without a hitch apart from one little glitch - at one point, in-between speeches, the power went, but Tony and his team had us up and running again within minutes and everyone seemed very calm, so no one even noticed.

I would highly recommend Super Events to anyone - we had an incredible day which will live in our memories forever.

The whole event was in fact very easy to organise, despite you being in Australia. Your mother and father had their fingers on the pulse and were great to work with. Great to work with, simple as that. The run up to your big day had been, shall we say chilly, but on the day itself, the sun shone! A great fun day with a nice bunch of people.
We will all remember “The Sedon’s do” with a great level of affection because all “The Seldons” were just so nice. Not a lot more to say other than, once more, thank you very much for your positive feedback, very much appreciated.

We used Super Events for our wedding. We had high expectations as they came recommended and we were clear on what we wanted.
They were fabulous. It is hard to imagine that they could have exceeded what we were expecting but they did, from the way the kindy offered suggestions to help our planning and using an obvious wealth if info from other wedding days. Thanks you.

We actually had a lot of comments from our guests about the staff - how efficient, thoughtful and professional they were. And we would like to thank Karen who was there all day and night !

Food was magnificent.

The next day they had even tidied up some of our stuff - packed bits and bobs away and checked up on us before they left.

Book them, go to the tasting day too if you can. You will be surprised at the menus on offer....

Review of Super Event limited from 3 April 2013

When our daughter Alice got engaged last May the hunt was on to find caterers for the Wedding the following February. I contacted Super Event and Tony Brewin came round and looked at the intended venue. Our neighbour had very kindly offered his beautiful unconverted Barn next door to us. Tony said it would be a perfect venue and plenty big enough for the 100 guests we wanted to invite. My concern was the likelihood of the cold and being able to heat the Barn adequately. Tony was in no doubt that it would be achievable and we were not to worry.
Right from the start, he gave us confidence. Nothing was too much trouble and any problem we presented him with was solved instantly.
Super Event would supply everything we needed to make the day a success. We did not have to source anything for the occasion anywhere else, it would all be taken care of by them and it was! They supplied Kitchens, dance floor, tables, chairs, linen, lighting, loos, walk ways, carpets, drapes and screening. All we needed to do was decorate the Barn ourselves, which we really enjoyed and wanted to do anyway.
We chose the food from their extensive menu and their fabulous chef even altered the Pork dish to how we wanted it! We went for a taster lunch and were delighted with the food. If it was like that on the day then we would be more than happy and it was! Everyone of our guests commented on how good the food was and many said it was the best they had ever tasted at a wedding.
The serving staff were fantastic, helpful, attentive but without being obtrusive. It was the most fabulous occasion and much to everyone's' delight (especially mine) it was plenty warm enough on the freezing February day....I need not have worried!
Everyone involved with Super Event, from Chrystelle in the Office to Tom in charge of setting up the event, could not have been nicer or more helpful and patient.
I can not recommend Super Event highly enough and if we have another wedding in the family I know who we will be using.

Review of Super Event limited from 19 January 2013

Super Event provided the catering and drinks for our wedding in Apil 2012. They were absolutely brilliant and made our day stress free. Our reception was in a village hall with limited kitchen equipment but this made no difference as they used a side room and turned that into their catering area. The food was excellent and superior to all wedding food I have ever had. A lot of our guests commented on how good it was and in particularly I was really pleased we were able to pick a really good veggie option of a vegetable terrine.

The drinks package was really good value and made everything very simple for us. We didn't have to worry about calculating amounts of alcohol and the bar staff were really friendly and helpful. However the part that really made it for us was our front of house manager, Steve. He kept checking in with us to make sure we were happy with how things were going and was even waiting in the rain as we arrived with a glass of bubbly. It was really good to have someone keeping an eye on everything and making sure everything was happening at the right time and keeping things running smoothly

We were very impressed with how professional everything was and one of the best decisions we made in our planning was going with Super Event. I would definately recommend them and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again if I needed a events company.

For any one who is wondering if super event is any good- take it from us- the answer is YES! We got married at Northbrook park in Farnham, Surrey on the 30th November 2012. We found Super Event using google and met with Tony at the Venue. We were a little apprehensive as Super Event had not catered at our venue before- and to be honest we had a hard time believing all the lovely reviews on Qype! They were just too nice!!
In the end we took what we thought was a gamble... turns out Super Event were the best decision we made.

The food tasted incredible and JUST as it did at the tasting session, the portions are HUGE and delicious! We had around 200 guests to feed and wanted someone who could deliver quality food at a reasonable price- that is exactly what we got. Almost everyone at some point in the night said how amazing the food was- 'the best we have ever had at a wedding' and on the excellent service- how they didnt have to wait for anything. one of our guests has been in the catering business for over 40 years- even he said, 'of all the weddings i have been too its the best catering i have ever experienced' - ( we LOVED that he said this!!!)

We had a supervisor called Stephen- cant recommend him enough- he was on top of everything, even stuff that was not related to the food! i am iranian so there were extra twists etc that he had to be aware of and he understood everything we wanted. He even at one point corrected the venue managers mistakes! To top if all off Tony even took some extra snaps on his Ipad that I love, so kind. Leading up the event Chrystelle is really responsive and helpful- she always emailed back quick and helped us with any probs. Just a great team.

They even served all the alcohol we had purchased- all extra cases returned - none missing. We have heard some bad stories of catering staff running off with excess alcohol etc- this is not the case with Super Event at all- they are totally trustworthy :)

We genuinely feel so lucky to have had them at our Wedding, I would be more than happy to talk to anyone who wants a telephone review. Finally, if you have picked them and wondering what to choose, we had the goats cheese bruschetta , beef begerac and dark chocolate truffle for dessert- AMAZING!!

We have just had our first wedding anniversary (24 September) and I was thinking back to what a wonderful wedding we had. We used Superevent for our catering and they were absolutley amazing! First class service both before the wedding from Chrystelle and Tony and on the day itself from Wendy and her team. We were awkward in that we wanted an old fashionned marquee which Superevent do not supply - most wedding suppliers would not allow different suppliers - but Tony was fully accommodating of this and was fantastic in liasiing directly with our marquee providers to ensure that all bases were covered. We also bought our own alcohol which Superevent had no problem serving. Supervents' flexible approach to allow us to have the wedding we wanted rather than making a full package compulsory was very refreshing! On the actual day itself we were lucky enough to hit a heatwave - Wendy was very mindful of this and approached us towards the end of the scheduled time for canapes outside and asked us if we wanted another half an hour to enjoy the sunshine with our guests, before moving inside. This extra half an hour probably caused issues for the Superevent staff, but we were very impressed that the enjoyment and our guests enjoyment of the day was put first. This is what makes Supervent outstanding! The quality of the food was excellent- some of our wedding guests said that the canapes and the wedding breakfast (we opted for the BBQ) were the best that they had had. We can highly recommend Superevent without hesitation! Helen and Andy Chester (married 24 September 2011, Pirbright, Surrey).

Review of Super Event limited from 2 October 2012

Super Event helped make our wedding such a special and perfect day. The comments we received from numerous guests have been nothing short of exceptional and we can’t thank them enough for getting it all so spot on. The food looked stunning, tasted amazing and the quantities were just brilliant, the evening hog roast was also a great success.

When we arrived at our venue, Blackstock Barn, there was a lovely glass of bubbles awaiting us and the staff ensured we had a few canapes before disappearing for our photos which was very thoughtful. The whole team were very friendly and approachable and were always available to help with any requests. They were always on hand replenishing drinks and canapes and it was lovely to see such presence throughout the afternoon.

With our extra requests we didn’t make things easy for them, however the time & effort they all put in really showed and nothing seemed like too much trouble. The tables looked sensational, the favours were exactly as requested and the menu cards we created were a great success. Overall, we were extremely pleased with how the room looked.

On a value for money note, the price per head for a four course meal was worth every penny , the quality & quantity of the food was superb. The drinks package was a no brainer, it gave peace of mind and was a great success, guests were able to enjoy their afternoon without once having to worry about an empty glass.

From the first time we met Tony & Chrystelle they put our minds at rest, they made everything seem so simple and almost too easy! We felt completely reassured and any request was noted, actioned and very rarely needed to be mentioned again...unless it was our unnecessary double checking!! The menu tasting was a superb afternoon and an exciting taster of what our day was to be like. The whole way through Tony & Chrystelle were friendly and approachable and they added a real personal touch to our whole experience. They guided us and helped all the way through with our decisions and were very helpful in making sure we made the right decisions from their experience. The whole service they provided was just perfect.

Super Event have a very happy Bride & Groom, we completely trusted them with everything for our day and felt reassured the whole way through our process. A few people around us had said, if anything unexpected happens or isn’t done on the day you just have to let it go and get on with it, don’t worry about it, Super Event were on top of everything before it even needed doing and any corrections just went unnoticed and were no problem to the team. The peace of mind of not having to worry about anything left our focus completely on our day and everything just flowed. Because of them all our day went without any hitches and everyone had a fantastic time. They covered everything that needed to be thought about and did it to the absolute best.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Super Event to friends and family for any function in the future.

Super event were fantastic from our first meeting to our wedding day, they were faultless and couldn't have done any more to make our day more perfect. They were recommended by a friend and we would not hesitate in passing our recomendation on to any future bride and groom looking for a first class service. The Marquee looked amazing and the food was of the highest standard. Review of Super Event limited from 2 September 2012

We got married at Blackstock Barn on 11 August and Super Events were our caterers. They were amazing. Chrystelle was fantastic before the event, answering my endless queries (very patiently) and always getting back to me immediately. She also suggested other suppliers who were also brilliant - thank you. Tony met with us at the venue on a number of occassions and talked through exactly how the day would run which was really appreciated. Super events were very flexible - we used their drinks package (really good value) and mixed wines from different packages and they even sourced wines outside their usual suggestions, the kids menus were also brilliant and much enjoyed. The food on the day was superb and the portion size was great. The fish and chip canapes and hog roast were real highlights and so many quests have commented how nice it all was. The staff (especially Karen) on the day were very professional, friendly and attentive. We felt so looked after - as the bride and groom you miss out on the canapes with all the photos but the staff made sure they came and found us and ensured our champagne glasses were always full. I would have no hesitation at all recommending Super Events - thanks to all - we had a truely amazing day xx

We got married on Saturday 21st July and after such torrential rain in the weeks leading up to our big day, it was clear the ground conditions were not good.

After a panic email to Chrystelle, she calmed and reassured me all would be good and behind the scenes, frantically searched for a hard floor for us and of course she came up trumps!!

From start to finish, Super Event have never let us down and nothing was ever too much trouble. From our intitial meeting with Tony and Chrystelle to Dee and the team on our big day (not forgetting Tom and the guys for erecting our marquee in the mud!!) I cannot praise them enough.

It was an absolutley amazing day that had been frought with worry over the weather conditions but Super Event promised not to let us down and thats exactly what happened.

The marquee was stunning, the food amazing and the staff the most helpful bunch I've come into contact with.

I would most definatly use them again, and would most certainly recommend them to anyone!!

Guys, thanks so very much for making our day one to remember for the right reasons!!!!

We never overlook the importance of the day; despite the years we have been doing it. It’s a huge responsibility, knowing that it is one of the most important days in your life and we never overlook that.
You were both great to work with, really great, and that helps just “Oh so much!”
Rain? Rain? What rain are you talking about? I can’t remember any issues with Rain, hard wooden floors, tractors …. I don’t recall any issues with any of that stuff. (L.O.L)

If you are reading the review whilst considering which events company to entrust with hosting your wedding reception, look no further. Super Event exceeded our expectations in every respect. From conception to the day itself the entire team were wonderful.

Tonys and Chrystelles expertise guided us effortlessly through our decision making and will do everything within their power to meet your exact requirements. The food tasting opportunity proved invaluable when selecting our menu courses and we are delighted to say that the food served on the day was equally as delicious. So many of our guests have praised the enourmously high standard of cuisine, our one regret was not inviting our exceptional chef Richard out from the kitchen for a huge round of appaulase. We are certain that chosing a company that provided both the marquee and catering was a huge advantage.

Just prior to our wedding day we met our event manager Stephen at the reception venue to discuss every detail for the day which was very reassuring. During the wedding breakfast both Stephen and his serving team were superb and Stephen ran a seamless service and his serving team took time to interact and chat to our guests at the right time. We must also say a special THANKYOU to the unsung heros of the day, our chef Richard and his team.

Dont take a chance when organising one of the most important days of your life use SuperEvents Myself and Vikki can not priase them highly enough. We need an excuse now to do it all over again !!!!!

Wow, another fabulous review. What can I say other than we are of course delighted that you are both happy with what we did. Delighted! I must quickly add you were, both of you, dream clients to work with. “Dream clients” are ones that tells us what they want, take a spot of advice here and there (mind you, not that you needed much advice!) then let’s us get on and do the job. I think that’s what happened. We were all on “The same page” working together, having a good time in the process, and achieved a great result. I’d love to say it was all down to us, but reality kicks in, and say’s that you both contributed greatly.
Does it get any better I ask myself? Probably not.
I have said this many times before on this site and at the risk of becoming boring say it again.
What I like about this review web site is that it allows, you, “Our customer” after the event, to say exactly what you will. Good or bad, you have every opportunity to say what you will. This is great for any potential new client to hear from past clients exactly how we performed without any (ANY) input or influence from me at all. Simple as that. Comments from our past clients saying exactly what they think. It can’t get any fairer than that. It’s there for potential new customers to read; feedback from past clients direct “Shooting from the Hip” (clients like yourself) who have experienced what we do, and how we do it.
We will remember you both with fondness, and feel that we really did develop a good relationship with both of you. We similarly hope that you both hold long term good memories of working with all of us at Super Event.
We don’t claim to be the best Caterer Marquee contractor in the South East, but would like to think we are in the first one!

Tony, Chrystelle and the team – What can we say other than THANK YOU so much for all your hard work and dedication in helping to make our wedding so wonderful. The whole day went better than we ever dreamed it could, from the standard of the marquee, the great service (Big thanks to Karen and her daughter who were brilliant on the day!), the exceptional food (we still have guests commenting about this!). We really had the best day of our lives and we couldn’t have done it without you! We are still kicking ourselves over the amazing sunny weather we had and really owe a massive thank you to Tom for helping us out with my bridezilla moment! It has been an absolute pleasure working with you all and we do hope our paths cross again. We would be more than happy to recommend Super Event to any of our family and friends.

Review of Super Event limited from 11 June 2012

The review below was sent to us direct at Super Event, the client asking us to insert the review on her behalf as she is not "In her words" very computer literate

Friday 18th May 2012. Celebration Luncheon at Elm House, Berwick.

Clients: Mrs Joanna Lumsden, and her family. Main contact: Emma Lumsden.

We asked Tony to arrange for suitable tent coverage for this Party, which was to incorporate both a pre-luncheon Reception followed by a sit-down Luncheon for approximately 75 guests, which were to be in the slightly more `senior` age group in the majority, set in the garden here at Elm House.

From the first site visit by Tony in March/April to the final wave `goodby` to the Team headed by Tom two days after the party we could not have been in better, extremely imaginative, sympathetic, courteous or more efficient hands.

The quality of the two marquees was excellent, clean and beautifully erected with absolute minimum damage to either overhanging trees or the grass and borders surrounding both sites. The finish inside both tents was beautiful, with the linings giving a feeling of elegance, charm and `top-quality dressing`. The floor coverings were spotlessly clean, efficient and very nice to walk upon, also adding to the feeling of luxury and comfort. The scheme of up-lighting and the central chandeliers all worked to perfection, and again greatly added to the overall style and visual charm. The general overall feeling was one of outstanding elegance and efficiency and this included the required Service Tent, and the excellent gas heater system. It also included the very well appointed and spotlessly clean loos, sited in the meadow adjacent to the garden.

I really cannot stress how delighted and satisfied we were, and how much we appreciated the care and thoughtfulness and tact with which the Team carried out both the initial erecting of the marquees, and the eventual dismantling of the same. There was never a moment’s worry about leaking (there was rain!) or wind damage, and the window panels afforded clear and enjoyable glimpses of the garden. Overall, I would like to say that without hesitation I would most heartily recommend Super Event to anyone seeking help with holding an event, and I am very grateful, both personally and on behalf of my family, to Tony and his Team, both in the field and in the Office, for their efficient and excellent service, which was carried out with a delightful sense of humour, but thoughtfulness and tact, and met our needs and expectations at all levels with a very high degree of excellence.

Super Events hosted our wedding on 2nd June, and they were fantastic!! Everything went perfectly, we couldn't have had a better day. The staff were lovely and very professinal, nothing was ever too much trouble. The food was amazing!! The marquee looked stunning, and all our guests were thoroughly impressed with the entire event. Our host for the day was Steve, who was absolutely outstanding! He did everything to keep us at ease and make sure we had a fantastic day. Chrystelle is the wedding planner of the year!! Overall, we would definitely use them again, and would recommend them very highly to everyone!!!

Many, many thanks for being kind enough to undertake this review process. It’s good for us to hear directly from our customers exactly what they think of us. It’s also very good for prospective customer seeking to identify what our past customers think about us. A prospective customer, quite naturally, involved in a high budget event want assurances about our track record, and wants to be confident we know what we are doing. (Personally…i’m pretty confident we do know what we are doing!!) I’m sure you know what I mean. The whole process now seems to be gathering pace with a great number of positive reviews 60 something to include your own review. All of them, every single one of them, 5 star reviews. Needless to say (But I will!!!) all of us are delighted. Does it get any better than 100% five star reviews? It seems we must be doing something right! I hope any new customers get some satisfaction and confidence from what are "Comments direct from our real customers” without any input and or interference from us. Real testimonials, from real people, not fictitious scrawlings that almost any firm can place on their web site.
I think this will prove to be a great forum, for real customer reviews (Not invented testimonials) to write “real reviews of real value” that can only be helpful to anyone considering Super Event Limited for any event they may wish to organise.

A real heartfelt thanks for everything, my son Ben and Nicola got married last Saturday. The marquee, staff and food were great.

My son and his wife felt the whole day went perfectly.

In fact everyone I spoke to said the reception was fabulous and the staff were polite and hard working.

Your chef was lovely and everything was cooked to perfection.

Myself and Warren would like to say a big thank you to all at Super Event for our Wedding marquee on the 12th May.
Everybody involved did a fantastic job and our day went without a hitch which is mainly due to the slick running and operation of Super Event.
The weather leading up to our day was atrocious and the field that the marquee was in was quickly becoming a mud bath. The conditions that the guys had to work in was awful but that did not even affect anything.
Both Crystelle and Tony were always at the end of the phone if there was a query, Rob and his team did a great job with the marquee, toliets etc in the conditions and last but by no means the least, Dee and her team delivered a fantastic service.
All the guests commented on the high quality of food and how it was piping hot when served to a 96 guests!
Luckily for us the sun came out the day before and stayed out for our wedding making it even better.
We cant thank you enough for everything and making our day a very enjoyable one.

Review of Super Event limited from 16 June 2012

Richard and I got married on 12th May this year at Brewerstreet Farm and our big day went off without a hitch!! This was thanks to Superevents and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to anyone.

Chrystelle and Tony at Superevents know their stuff, are professional and committed. They have vast experience and can really help you to achieve the day you are after. Chrystelle was our main point of contact and was very efficient, she made the whole process very simple and easy for Richard and I. She also bent over backwards to help with our additional requests.

Chris and Fiona were our event managers on the big day and again, they were faultless. They attented to our guest's needs and nothing was too much trouble. The food was also second to none and we have had so many comments about how great the food was (haddock, lamb shank and the trio for pudding).

Thank you Superevents, Richard and I really appreciate your all you help. We had an amazing day!!
