I love Peasant Pies. They’re an inexpensive, healthy alternative to a pizza down the street. However, you shouldn’t go into this place expecting a fatty, delicious pot pie. They cater to the health conscious.

But for healthy fare, they score high…if you don’t eat two or three in one sitting.

Oh, and I love their desserts, especially the chocolate pie. It’s the perfect thing to eat when you want to think you’re eating healthy…after eating several.

After discovering Peasant Pies I went back every other day until I had tried every single pie. Their tofu pie is the only time I’ve ever enjoyed tofu, and their only meat pie - a chicken pie - is actually the worst one on offer. Stick with the veggie stuff in there, say I.
