Andrew, have you ever wondered past Llandudno Beach to Sandy Bay ? That used to be my favourite beach as it was ever so quiet and not visited by the tourists who found the walk a bit tiring.

Llandudno Beach is one of my favourite beaches in Cape Town. Beautiful white sand framed by boulders at either end of the beach. Perfect for sunbathing, people watching, beach games and (of course) surfing! Llandudno is the home of the rich and famous. Most of the houses hugging the cliffs surrounding the beach are worth well over £1m! Excellent sunsets and generally fantastic views.

If you are afraid of sharks, this is probably one of the most patrolled beaches in the Cape, so chances of getting picked off by a great white are reasonably slim ;)
