Camps bay has a great beach and is the centre of nightlife on the Atlantic Seaboard. This is not a place for surfers, it’s more a place to sunbathe or sit in one of the beachside bars or cafes and watch the world go by. There are loads of great restaurants and bars/clubs along the seafront and the atmosphere is always buzzy. If you’re staying in the middle of town, you should definitely dedicate one evening to Camps Bay for dinner and drinks.
