Was great, and did feel kinda off the tourist trail which is always nice. Wasn’t the hugest fan of the cannoli but who cares it’s definitely worth a try and they do have loads of other delicious treats to be had.

You will always find a crowd eager to try one of the fifteen different types of cannoli. They also create outstanding ice cream takes, and can throw together a giant sheet cake on short notice. Open late and offering coffee and espresso, this is a great place to stop in for a snack.

“If you were only in Boston for a day, where would you go?” I asked the girl working at the hostel.

“Mike’s Pastry for Cannoli” was the answer, and so I ended up here at Mike’s bakery-cum-café in the heart of little Italy. Definitely worth a trip. Infact it was so good that after coming for breakfast, we tried to get back here for a pre-bedtime snack, and trekked halfway across the city to do so. Unfortunately we arrived 5 minutes after closing time. Sucks.
