Lotus Lounge

Been to Lotus Lounge a few times now, Very good every time. Staff very friendly and helpful. The service can be a little slow if they are very busy so I guess don’t go there if you are in a hurry. I will certanly go back again. Go for the buffet every time!!

Now turned into Lotus Lounge, and has been completely revamped. Theys till do the all you can eat menu though which is great value and the staff are very friendly.

Fantastic food and brilliant service, the curry was delicately spiced and the sweet and sour chicken was full of flavour and very succulent. Prices are good for the portions served, drinks are reasonable.

Great service, good selection of wines to choose from, loved the complimentary thai prawn crackers. As for the food, well it was very tasty, the tom yum soup was very nice with alot of seafood. Liked the mussels with ginger and spring onion, could really taste the ginger. Ended the meal with a rather unusual dessert, malaysian rice dumplings with coconut, which I have to say is my new favourite dessert!

Excellent meal, lots to choose from and it all arrived steaming hot. Service was good, the restaurant itself is nicely decorated. There's a car park opposite. Will definitely be returning soon.

My mother and I like to frequent this place whenever I visit because they have such a great buffet menu. There's alot to choose from but I always end up having the green curry and crispy chilli beef because they're my favourites. The coconut rice is also great and everything comes out quickly so we don't have to wait long. Their beer is fantastic, it comes in these big bottles which I haven't really seen anywhere else.

a friend actually recommended this place and I found it quite good. The eat as much as you like menu had lots of dishes to choose from and everything came out quickly and piping hot. I especially reccommend the crispy chilli beef.

Don't know what the other two are talking about as I gave this place a try and found it to be superb. Perhaps something to do with a change of management recently? in any case the food was delicious and hot, the drinks were reasonable and the staff very friendly.

the food is horrible as is the service, its possibly the worst resturant in Poole, if you are lucky enough to actually get some thing out the kitchen its cold when it arrives and with lime & soda served from a bottle from a well known super market being £2.40 you cant afford to drink whilst waiting an age for your food to arrive. avoid this place like a contagious disease.

Well the Service is on Time, but the banquet on the menu is like a sandwich box, and the half a duck I purchased must have been bolemic What a shame they had already cut the meat of the bone. I would have loved to have seen how small it was before I had digested it. Bon appetite its is not.
p.s. make sure your microwave is working when you order as the food will be cold by the time it gets to you
