Love the food, love the price - simply can’t beat it. Used to live in Meigh Road (close by)- my daughter still does, so we always return to eat there when we’re visiting from Spain

IF YOUR AFTER GOOD FOOD AT A GREAT PRICE THIS IS THE PLACE.
IT IS A CARVERY BUT WAIT FOR IT…..... MONDAY-SATURDAY THE PRICE IS £3.50 AND ON A SUNDAY £6.50.
YOU GET THE USUAL FOOD FOR A CARVERY IE:GAMON,BEEF OR TURKEY,LOADS OF DIFFERENT VEG,NEW AND ROAST POTATOES,I THINKYOU GET THE PICTURE.
ONLY DOWNSIDE TO THIS IS THAT IT IS VERY POPULAR AND IS BUSY ALL THE TIME AND THE QUEUE IS ALWAYS LARGE AND YOU CAN WAIT ABOUT 20MINUTES TO REACH THE COUNTER.
SAYING THAT FOR £3.50 I DONT MIND WAITING AWHILE.
ALL IN ALL A GREAT PUB AND IM GLAD ITS ONLY 2MINS FROM MY HOUSE!!!!!!
