The Amalfi is a family run Italian restaurant that looks directly out at Windsor Castle. It is a well decorated simple but authentic Italian - and is somewhere to go for a celebration when you have quite a few pennies to spend. The location is great as its in the centre of Windsor - close to the theatre and opposite the castle. The food is home made and tastes fresh which is great and it does centre itself around italian cuisine. That being there is lots of pasta - freshly made - and cheesy, garlicky, med. vegetable treats :) I had a seafood risotto which was lovely and the seafood is not processed - for instance the squid is actually squid and not calamari! As well as A La Carte they also do set menus for both lunch and dinner.
The staff there are very friendly and really know their menu. Ask any questions and the waitor will know the answer.
