This is the best way to see the whole of Dublin and get a snap shot of some of the history. It is a open topped double decker bus where the driver usually doubles as the tour guide. 9 out of 10 times the diver will be just as funny as he is knowledgeable. Typical Irish humour that is! Even though i know Dublin fairly well i really enjoyed this trip. I saw buildings i would not have noticed from ground level walking, and found out different things from different drivers.
You can get on and off the bus at any of the set bus stops which is great if you need a break OR if you want a different driver!! (though they all seem great to me). This means you can do it over lunch time as you can pop off when hungry!
I would definitely recommend this tour though the Viking tour is just as good and it has a little something that the Dublin bus tour does’nt (read the review to find out what!!
