3D glasses were the usual size, they certainly weren’t tiny :s

I don't have a strong opinion about this cinema but it appears to serve a good purpose for press photographers like me.
I'm not sure what the prices of the concessions are in the cinema, however I noticed that the last time I was there they sell coffee at a reasonable price. Next chance I get to go I will have to check out some of the other items they have on offer. They also have a fully licensed bar.
This cinema is used to host London premiers of big named films, if you are looking to spot some stars you may need to get here early.

They were small – I’ll stand by that, all 3D glasses are a bit unwieldy over prescription glasses, but these had a smaller lens than most, and didn’t work well over glasses, you don’t seem to wear any Chunky – it might not effect you :)
As this is on the square you pay much more for your movie. Screen 1 is worth it, screen 2 is rubbish. Under screen 1 the screen is small and too low.
The 3d here uses small lens early generation glasses that are very grubby.
Best avoid unless a special occasion in screen 1

This is the best cinema I have ever been to. The seats are fantastic, they recline slightly for comfort and if you sit in stalls, each row is elevated enough so that no one will get in your way. The food is reasonably priced and everything tastes brilliant, i’ve never had a bad snack hot or cold from there. During one visit I lost my camera and the staff did everything possible to help me find it, they are always so helpful and friendly. The screens, lobby and toilets were always clean even with all the people that were there.

I went to this cinema as i was given free tickets as a gift. I'm glad i didn't have to pay otherwise i'd had to re mortgage the house to pay for two people. Central London is expensive i know but almost double the price than a town cinema is ridiculous. Especially when the service, cleanliness and overall feel of the place was below average. Very disappointed.

This cinema has a proper 3D screen and is THX certified. It's big, and probably the best one in the area. Unfortunately as with the local competition it's very expensive!

It's Monday, I've some time to kill, so I go online to see what cinema has a midday showing. Empire in Leicester Sq fits the bill and I pop on the tube to go and see Green Zone.
Not many people around town as it is a working Monday, I get "chugged" outside the cinema (charity mugged) but as I am not a UK resident I did not interest the pretty girl.
Nearly fell over when asked did I want the £11 or £13 ticket option.... The same night I visited another cinema for £4.50. Hmmmm.
Anyway, this is a very nice cinema, large, seating areas while waiting with tv screens around showing trailers, was then into screen 1 (the biggest I think). Great seats, picture and sound amazing. A good show all round.
Expense is the only problem and midday Monday..there is really no excuse.

Nice cinema, huge screen, but when i last went a few years ago the sound system was terrible. It wasn't powerful enough for the size of the main theatre and the sound became too distorted

Despite the fact that I’ve seen films in Leicester Square a few times, I’d somehow never been to this cinema before. Which is a shame, as I think it might be the best one here. The seats are definitely the comfiest. Noticed that as soon as I sat down.
Went to a late showing of a film and getting in and getting to our seats (tickets easily picked up after booking online) was easy. Ignored the usual overpriced refreshment options. It did take a while to filter people out, via one open door, but I guess they have security or safety reasons for this.
This place would probably could be worth a 4…but I just can’t because I don’t want to go back, because of the location. Coming out of the fantasy world created by the film into the grim reality of Leicester square at 2 in the morning, provides a severe shock to the system. I’d forgotten what this part of town was like at that time of night (because I had been avoiding it for so long, I guess).

Excellent cinema with excellent equipment and a proper big screen, their choice of movies feels odd at times, but if there was a big action movie I would highly recommend going there.

In an age where most businesses are cutting their workforces at the expense of good service, I was impressed by the presence of ushers at this cinema. All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The interiors had a glamorous feel, complete with upholstered leather doors and glowing 'stars’ on the ceiling. The price may be a bit hefty, but it’s nothing more than the charges of other Leicester Square cinemas. And let’s be honest here, you get what you pay for.

its an ok cinema but its quite expensive. Better to go somewhere else. The popcorn was expensive as well and I didnt think the cinema was very clean, there was quite a lot of rubbish on the floor.
The nearest tube to it is Leicester Square or Piccadilly Circus its not hard to get there its just that its expensive and not good enough for what you pay. nothing ’’awesome’’ about this place.

I’ve been in both the smaller screens and in the large screen one in this cinema. They are all comfortable (and cheaper if you don’t go at peak time), but I still don’t think this place is as good as the nearby Odeon in Leicester Square. The seats, though comfortable enough, are smaller and more packed in, and the stalls section could do with more of a tilt in case someone really tall sits in front of you. The picture, though, is crisp and clear, especially the digital presentation I saw today of 'Burn After Reading.’

A great cinema in a nice central location, very comfortable and clean. I saw 'Neal and Nikki’ on one of the smaller screens. Yes, expensive, but they all seem to be these days.
