This is on the 87th floor of the Jinmao Tower so it has to get some stars for its unique location. Drinks expensive by Shanghai standards but worth it for the views. You might have to queue for a table at busy times but spectacular views of the Shanghai skyline. We went up at night so views limited to well-lit buildings so a daytime trip might be more interesting. The low lighting at night obviously helps with the view outside, but makes it difficult to see what it’s like inside!

Highest bar in the world so I was told, not sure if this is the case anymore. The interior of the bar looks dated, not shabby but stuck a few decades in the past. We all dressed up and were very excited about going but it was definitly not as great as I was expecting. As students we were on a budget so we found it very expensive especially as there is a minimum charge per group for sitting at a table. Views are excellent if you’re lucky enough to be sat by the window. In all it is worth popping by for a drink (The cocktails were very good!) but the atmosphere was dull so don’t plan to spend the night there!
