Hidden in a side street around the corner from the Philharmony is one of Cracows pearls. Enter Massolit Books and Cafe and you drop into the magic world of “Amelie”. The atmosphere is really unique: warm colours, perfect music, the smell of excellent coffee and millions of used and new books. You can take your time, read while having tea, a complete stress-free place. The choice is surprisingly good, especially concerning Literature, History, Jewish Studies, Cultural Studies, Politics. Lots of english translations of Polish writers. Extremely fair prices for the used books. Honestly, never felt better in a bookstore.
