In my top five bars in the world. This place is magical, it really is. I’ve seen some of the best live performers in here and had an amazing time every time I’ve been. It’s a really tiny single room affair with a bar up one side and the stage jammed at the end of the room. The band and the crowd mix, and the keyboard player generally has to sit in the audience - making for a superb atmosphere! The standard of the players who tour here is out of this world - I’ve never seen blues like it in the UK, and it’s dead cheap to get it.

There’s Guinness in cans too as I recall, so you don’t even have to drink any of the local crap beer!

If you come to Chicago, this is a must.
