Obviously - buying this way - you need to be sure of, and have, an up-to-date prescription and must be familiar with the lenses that suit you; and you’ll still need annual check-ups.

I’ve used Vision Direct a few times, they offer a very comprehensive selection of lenses which can be ordered in small or large quantities (prices and discounts vary accordingly). Their prices offer a good saving and they provide free first class postage, if you sign-up for email order reminders. Items are delivered promptly - in jiffy bags - that, conveniently, should fit through most letter boxes. (Although, lenses are sent without fully-boxed packaging which means you may need to take more care with storage.)
