An excellent environment, possibly the best in Bangor... get away from it all in what is a beautiful cafe where it is obvious that the owner puts her heart and soul into the business. She is also to be found at the helm and is always friendly and accommodating. They have recently extended too so there is more space and seating options.
Plenty of coffee and tea options which are all excellent
The food is not to everyones taste. There is no menu as such, and what there is of an vegetarian/artisan slant which is very niche and if they brought it one or two notches nearer to mainstream I'm sure they would make a killing. It is however homemade and derived from their interests / experiences rather than the tastes or demands of the general public. I guess this makes for some form of food education / experiment if you are in the mood.
You'll want to budget £10 a head for food item and drink but the portions are colourful and a good size, just a bit 'out there'

If you’re looking for somewhere to have tea/coffee and cake it’s the place to go. Really quaint and cosy inside with a good selection of teas, coffees and cakes. If lunch is what you’re after though, I wouldn’t bother. When I went there was a choice of five dishes. Two different types of soup and three kinds of savoury tart. All costing £6.95. Since we ended up going elsewhere for more choice I don’t know how good the soups or tarts were but for nearly £7, I hope they’re amazing!!
I’m a vegetarian and took my meat loving boyfriend in the hope to inspire him with some veggie delights but to be honest even I was uninspired. Disappointing.

Joint favourite cafe in North Wales, along with Cegin in Caernarfon.

Absolutely lovely coffee / cake shop. Almost all the food is made there with around three vegie dishes available to choose between.
The owners are really friendly and make you feel welcome.
I just can't belive it's been open for three years and I've only just discovered it. Can we have more places like this in Caernarfon please, fed up with all the low quality sub standard greasy spoon caffs we have here.
