Music is my life and if there is a gig happening anywhere, you are sure to find me there. The Uprising Festival is no exception, infact it is probably one place you will always find me. I will be that girl in the middle of the mosh pit, that girl crowd surfing and even that girl going around doing random things and making new friends. The Uprising Festival is a 12 hour concert where local bands perform to get recognition and to entertain for a day. You pay a set amount and you get to ride the flow rider all day as well as skate all day long. There is a stage outside that bands play on as well as an inside room witha stage for less known bands. Merch is on sale and you even get to socialise witht he bands after they have performed if they stick around and get them to sign stuff. There is an area cut off that is for over 18s where alcohol is served. You get a band saying you’re 18 and only if you are wearing that are you allowed in. Hope to see many new faces at this unforgettable event.
