When i’m working away I always think about the Jolly as it’s just the best pub around and always my first stop when I come back in to town.With friendly faces and excellent ales it is just a great place to hang out. The Ale choice is superb with a constantly changing selection and some real gems can be found. If you love Ale and a great atmosphere then it has to be The JB!

Justly-praised local-feel pub situated down a residential street in Montpellier, worth trekking out of the town centre to pay a visit to. This is a real gem and should be on everyone's radar, especially if you like to hang out in a beer garden roughly the size of Wales. (this is an exaggeration, but it seems pretty big at night-time).

Bar-staff are happy to help, but it must be a challenge working behind what seems to be a cramped elbow-shaped bar. Decor is pleasingly off-beat, and the interior bays are probably the most sought-after seating in the place.

On the whole, the place seems to do a roaring trade at weekends, so arrive early and secure your spot.

Easily one of the best pubs in Cheltenham. Nice interior with bay windows, the odd nook and an interesting raised section. But the ale is the star here - 6 ales regularly on, with a good range of styles and breweries represented. Downsides? It usually heaving - its popularity is well deserved, but it can be uncomfortably full. Beer garden is pleasant if we ever get a summer...

Probably the best pub that I have visited while I have been living in Cheltenham. With 6 Guest Ale pumps and lots of other pumps too (inlcuding ciders, scrumpys, perrys and commercial beers) it is an excellent place for those who appreciate a good pint. P.S. They also have a really nice beer garden.
