Every Capetonian knows Mugg and Bean . Delicious, good food. Large portions ,that can often be shared and Enormous muffins and slices of cake. You HAVE to try the carrot cake and lemon meringue pie. In fact, try anything…..its all good.

P.s Not enough said about the coffee…. it can be ordered in a 'bottomless’ mug or cup. Different strengths and varieties to help yourself from. Excellent value for money.

I am a tremendous Mugg and Bean fan - never have such perfect little eggs benedicts passed these lips, or smoked chicken salads caused squeals of delight. This chain has spread like small pox around South Africa and any city that has a petrol station and a statue has one of these puppies - and is better for it. Good quality food, good value for money and some tasty sandwiches (bacon and brie is not to be sniffed at).

I quite like Mugg and Bean. They do great flap jacks (and coffee obviously). A bit more chilled out than Starbucks and also quite a decent selection of hot meals. You’re spolit for choice for places to eat in Century city, but this should be on your hitlist if you are looking for a quick bite to eat.

For the best coffee and hot chocolate this is the place.

I love the hot chocolate especially because you can buy bottomless hot chocolate and keep refilling.

They also serve wonderful breakfasts and food. The deserts are amazing and is a wonderful place to relax with friends.
They offer coffee which is on another level.
