It's never reassuring to read reviews that deride any service organisation in this kind of forum as it's something akin to throwing rotten fruit at someone in the stocks. The fruit is usually rotten in the first place, the victim can't dodge or deflect it and the person doing the throwing gets to have all the say!!

Well now I'll have my say - my trip involved visiting Singapore, Brisbane, Auckland and Christchurch returning to London via Singapore again. I'm a seasoned and quite senior traveller with a limited budget, my needs were met and surpassed in every way. I asked for a specific set of criteria to be met and this organisation's  representative not only met them but bettered them. All my flights were as arranged and and agreed, everything within the control of the agent was delivered exactly as promised. My first two outbound and last two homeward bound flights were with Singapore Airlines and I can't sing their praises loudly enough.

As a flight operator SIA are highly professional and competent both technically and personally. Every employee od SIA with whom I had contact was willing, helpful, cheerful and correct in both the delivery of my needs and the advice given when questions were asked. From helping young nursing mothers struggling to manage feeding and dealing with their infants in a difficult environment through to attending to the opposite end of the age scale where seniors are experiencing the all too common discomforts of long haul flight the cabin crew were compassionate, understanding and I suppose most of all most THERE.

In this day and age there seems to be a prevailing attitude that to give service is somehow demeaning and is all too often given grudgingly - not in my experience with this agent or flight operator. Delivering good service should be recognised as a skill to be developed and rewarded and, in some measure I hope my comments promote this belief.

As this forum is for comment on the performance of Round the World Experts let me in closing say that, having been around the world my trip was managed expertly thank you all and most especially the lady who arranged my trip I've had a wonderful time all round, never once distracted from the pleasures of my holiday by transport problems. I got what I paid for and I'm well satisfied. Thank you ma'am, I'm in your debt!!

I plead you not to book with this company, they destroyed our dream round the world trip we saved for for years and caused me so much stress and tears when we were away. They advertise as being able to change dates at no cost and have the 'assistance' of the Travel Butler but this couldnt be further from the truth. The fact is most of the time you wont be able to change your dates because nothing is available leaving you with the horrible choice of them either being able to find a totally different date way in the future leaving you stuck in a country or running out of visa time or having to pay to change your date because all they can get you is an 'upgraded' flight which on more than one occasion involved us sitting in the same economy seat that we were promised free of charge changes in first place. The travel butler ignores your email and if you do ever get through at a premium rate from abroad you are met with pure rudeness. The amount we spent on flight changes and phonecalls i wish to god I wish we had booked with proper company. Nothing in comparison to the upset they caused. I resorted to contacting family in the Uk asking them to call and call from here to try and get a response on my behalf. You will also be unsuprised there was no care or response when we got back either. Disgrace.

I had the worst experience with them.

They told me the cheapest fare they could find was a certain amount and I booked with them, but few minutes later I checked myself and the airline website gave a significantly lower fare. I could have saved a small fortune if I had checked the website myself.
Still banging the head on the wall about this. And they, of course, took no responsibility.
They really shouldn’t call themselves “Experts”. You should always check for yourself FIRST before doing anything with them

Do not trust this travel agent!!

They advertise that date changes on your round the world flight are free of charge, once you have left the country, and offer their free travel butler service to help you.

I found that every time I tried to change a flight I was been told I had to pay more. The the only use of the travel butler service was to explain where in the terms and conditions it stated why I was being charged.

Very helpful and friendly company- until they get your money.
