I have dined at Food a few times, at each visit the quality and value has been reliably excellent. Lunchtimes are incredible value, I think it was £5 last time I visited (May 08) the mountain of Mussels in a Thai/coconut broth… were wonderfully plump and delicious…. yum! The staff are always pleasant and attentive without being intrusive.

Food is in a road leading off the seafront not far from the ‘lido’, incredibly it was easy to find a parking space on a hot, sunny Saturday :)

Four of us attended for a birthday celebration. Service was top class, very friendly & put all of us at ease. Lovely atmosphere with soft background music. Food was plentiful and beautifully presented. All of the dishes that we sampled were very well received. Overall bill was not over the top for the experience of the wonderful evening. Everyone had a great time. Can’t wait to return!!
