Popped in to the Covent Garden store and at first sight you might be forgiven for wondering why! But nosed around and added another two hats to my already large collection. My wife says I am not allowed near agains until the summer….. fat chance need something for the warmer weather soon. RCB
Complications with my internet order are ongoing but I am now reassured by Laird of Glencairn that I will eventually receive the hat I paid for on 22nd Dec 10.
Really nice hats and caps and very friendly staff for a change!
Brilliant gem of a shop on a fantastic street. Exceptionally friendly and very good prices. Really wide range of traditional and cool hats. Funny and unstuffy - contemporary vibe. You have got to see the amazing window decorations too - each time it's quite incredible. Very arty!! I love it!! Nice to have some independent shops still about. :)
For Hats, Caps, and other accessories, or just to experience a very individual, quirky shop, visit Laird of Glencairn or the website.
They've just brought out a new range of caps too under the Laird London brand.
The Laird of Glencairn is a great hat shop with an interesting selection.
It's like walking into a semi-time warp, as almost any place is on Columbia Road I suppose. That being said, they have a wonderful and varied selection of caps and hats for both men and women, as well as a range of useful accessories, from scarves to gloves to cufflinks et al.
With a range of Stetson hats and caps to other seemingly English and Scottish branded goods, they are definitely worth checking out, and just as competitive compared to other hat shops in the 'hood.
To get a better idea of selection, definitely check out their website.
